Version hasn't changed?

Even though i have downloaded the updates, in-game my Shogun 2 still shows it as v1.0.0?
That isn't right is it?
Does anyone else have this too?

Yep, it has been 1.0.0 for a while now. I think they've only updated the build numbers to the right of that.

how come when i try to join a battle it always says they have a different version to mine??

hmm, then maybe you don't have the latest patch. Try validation your files in steam. It might trigger the patch to download.

Possibly, the updates do not update the .exe file. Since the only things that get placed are the steam.dll, patch.pack files, etc. So that must be the reason it does not appear.

CA knows, rightfully, that these fixes should have been shipped with the game, so that is why they have not advanced the version. Maybe after they start adding things in addition to that which was supposed to have been shipped with the game, there will be version advance.
