Default Add Mechanic: Cannot Immediately Siege

I think the game would benefit from not allowing the player or the AI to siege the castle they attacked in the same turn. It will let the AI and the player able to defend better by sending reinforcements, more battles will be on the field instead of the castle, 90 percent of all my battles are sieges, and clans will not die out so fast, I'm talking to you Oda. What do you think?

Oda has a completely separate problem of having too much on its hands on turn 1 for the AI to handle it. It has just about enough troops to defend, but when I used my metsuke to look at how the AI behaves when I started as Tokugawa, the AI basically takes all its troops and tries to rush Tokugawa leaving its castle undefended so Saito can take it with their 3 starting units.

As for your idea I can see the point and it could make the game better, but it would require a huge amount of effort to balance things out compared to how they work now. I don't think this will happen. At least not in the vanilla version.

I kinda like it. The game is viciously blitzy at the moment, which is fun, but forcing the AI and player to not blitz so much would be beneficial. It would definitely help the Oda ai survive the first turn, but both they and the player would find it much harder to expand (three enemies, have to face their field armies, can't immediately reposition to defend after taking territory.

I remember thinking the same thing when going from M2 to ETW, because you no longer needed to spend time building siege gear.
