Default What is the point of multiplayer?

I just played and won 7 games today, and in 6(!!!!) i got the plug pulled. The last guy was named Osmand (dark red Mon) and was from a clan named Subatay or something like that (a Turk obviously), and he was lvl 9 AND A TOTAL NOOB!

I think this game is going nowhere, since there is NO INCENTIVE FOR ADMITTING DEFEAT WHATSOEVER. Has anyone ever thought about that? Back in the M2TW days where there was no ranking system, all people stayed in the game and we had a great time. Your reputation was your ranking, and everyone knew who the good and who the bad players were.

I am totally upset with this, and I think everybody who has a job and other hobbies in his life feels the same frustration. The little time i am able to devote to kick some ass in TW is totally ruined.

    to CA:
HOST THE ING GAMES ON YOUR ING SERVERS AND COUNT DISCONNECTS AS LOSSES!

    to QUITTER:
UNINSTALL THE ING GAME IF YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO WIN A MATCH!

God, I just cant understand what is going on in a ragequitters head. Or is it the Total War community who sucks ass in general? I think most Total War players just think they are Alexander the Great, and when they get their ass kicked, the ragequit instead of admitting and reflecting on their mistakes. In SC/WC3/SC2 it's totally different.

You know they just released a patch addressing alt-f4 quitting.

Its only a 50% fix, but its a good start. They mentioned they were working on a full fix as well.
