    right,not sure if this is a bug or not but here go's.
    me playing as wissenland (and having a blast by the way in spite of crashes!) got to scripted attack on nuln by orks.they lay siege with 3 huge armys,attack me by stoning the walls or at least one stack does,the other two just sit there.the one that is attacking gets my outer wall to 92% damage and then stops,presumably because they've run out of ammo..and then thats it! they all just sit there and stare at my city.
    now these are not the orks i know and love,the other two huge stacks dont move a muscle,even though they have lots of rock lobba's in their ranks.they're attacking,im defending thats how this is supposed to work.if i go outside i'll be slaughtered so sensibly,i stay in so i can bleed them but they stay still.
    is this an ai thing as in ca's stupid ai? cheers

    this is a bug that has been seen time and time before. that is why i always save before a siege battle so that if something like this happens then i could counter it. personally, i cant wait for forts being implemented(THP's mod) to this game or at least have forts replace cities in sieges, not only it is much more awesome in terms of gameplay but so far i have never heard this problem happening in fort battles.

    now what you could do is simple, face the orcs out in the open instead of a siege. hit their terbuchets and most important of all their damn mages. kill these two units and you should be good, but the might still stand there like brain dead idiots. again thats not CoW's fault but a faulty programming in vanilla.

    cheers toho,i thought this might be ca's doing.its like the suicide generals bug.but i also had a stack on a bridge blocking off the only route and an ork stack still managed to sail straight past.i thought they had to attack if blocked! if the attack on nuld is scripted,is it meant to be a losing battle for me as wissenland? and does the level of difficulty i play the battle on have an effect on how aggressive the ai behaves when fighting? cheers

    personnaly i KNOW i can win against that many or at least weaken them so much that when i come back it would be a simple matter of taking nuln back, so i let them have it and when the time is right i attack the stack out side somehow so that they both could rienforce each other. on open plain with a full orc force....it will be fun
    so just do what i do either auto resolve or "auto_lose" so the orc horde can have their huge stacks undamaged and then have an epic fight on open ground.

    could a person make the rams able to damage stone walls?
