Players Mr Kim and Ms. Trinh will Alt-F4 you

I've been matched up against these guys 3 times now. Mr Kim and Ms. Trinh of the Rengo Sekigun.

First time we played they Alt-F4ed when they were about to lose. Second time I laughed at them in the lobby and they Alt-F4ed in the lobby. Third time we played, they Alt-F4ed again when they were about to lose.

At first I thought they were funds cheating, now I'm not so sure. They hide their entire army in the forest. Both players only reveal massive cavalry army (Great Guard and 6ish Yari Cav) and mangonel. Then when they are about to lose, they each revealed 6-7 no-dachi samuari and charged.

But when I tried to copy their setup in the modified army screen, it was possible only if I got the trading post (5% discount) and no veteran units at all. And I don't remember if I saw veteran units during the game.

Anyways, you are warned. They will mangonel forest camp, and just run around with cavalry all day long then Alt-F4 when losing.

Yeah... just a public service announcement. Hopefully the pictures will help people remember them.

The rules are retarded. I don't know the argument behind naming and shaming not being allowed, if there is a good reason for the naming and shaming.

How about the fact that I could take a picture of anyone's steam profile and say they were alt+f4 users.

Without in-game screenshots or video this is nothing more than a baseless allegation.

Looks to me like they are a couple......probably playing on diff pcs in the same household and instead of wanting to play S2 they decided to take care of business.

One is a Vietnamese name and one is a Korean name. Location of where they're both gaming would help more than 'two asians = must be a couple'

Hi there, I'm Stormtrooper's 2v2 partner (Steam: T-Rex Holding A Flame Thrower).

We tried saving replays of the ordeal, but as they Alt-F4'ed the replays were messed up. Regardless, these two are the only folks to do that to us so I consider ourselves lucky.

It is based on that I got matched with these people three times. I just can't offer proof.

I've got some screen capture software (Debut) but it's just a hassle and I don't have the space to record a poorly encoded 1920 resolution video on my hard drives (currently filled to the brim with porn).

Use steam cloud, then. You don't need any disk space any more to take screen shots. The default button is F12.

We're not on some campaign/cause to slander these people. This is just a friendly warning to fellow forum go'ers about ALT-F4'ers. We want to save other clan/forum members from wasting an hour fighting these cav + mang campers for no change to their win/loss records. Take it or leave it.

edit: Alt-Tabbing mid-game to activate my recording software causes a desktop crash. Slightly more than inconvenient. I should have been more specific.

Great! I had no idea that you could screen cap with Steam natively. If we encounter them again, we'll cap a picture.
