Why there is always about 20-30 people online while at other RTS like DoW2 or CoH is about 4/6k players online? This game is so lame noone plays online? Or this because of massive bugs and imba?

It depends on the language of the game you're running and the regional server that you're on.
So...let's say you run the game in Polish and sever region set to Thailand, chances of you see someone online is quite slim
Or you simply play while other is sleeping or at work

the game requires more thought and patience than others RTS which makes it less friendly for mp, although this is improving.
the games core design makes it more of a single player experience where most RTS are better as multiplayer experiences
the games designers usually require a year, or more, after release before things are working right for multiplayer, which doesn't help.
Primarily however, I would have to say that this is a single player game at its root. The multilayer is there to round the experience and draw in more people but is not a central focus.
The player list was pretty long when I played like 20 min ago.

I'm pretty sure the MP population is a lot higher then 20-30 people. It's probably a combination of connectivity issues and regional servers, but during the weekend I played approximately 30-40 games and I don't remember a single game where I played the same person twice.
How do you change the server region. I live in Belgium but got the game from Amazon UK, and yet still I get nobody on the servers...
