DemoShield??
Hi,
I installed Rome: Total War a year or so ago, and I decided to try and play it again recently. When I inserted the CD, a small DemoShield window opened, and the game did not play. I did not have this problem before, and I quite honestly don't remember installing any program called DemoShield on my computer. Has anyone had a similar problem with DemoShield, and is there any way to disable it? Thanks, any feedback is appreciated.

Demo Shield is something to do with RTW, Ive just never worked out what exactly it does.
Its necessary I think and is installed when you install RTW

Try to unitnstall then reinstall, if that doesnt work, patch 1.2 and see if it works then, other than that, I don't know

Erm, demoshield is used by RTw to install the game and autorun it. If you disabled it the game wouldn't work.
