youtube not playing automaticaly

ive just reinstalled the OS and tried youtubing a music mix. it loads some videos fine, but otheres load then wait. i need to press the play button to get them to play. im using the same AV and FW as last time and i had no problems

I get that since I installed Windows 7. Some videos play fine but other just refuse to play. Might be a problem with chrome.
What browser are you on?

chrome. it all worked fine before. same OS, same browser. weird

I've discovered if you go to the uploader's channel and watch it there it works fine.
irritating though.

I think there might be different versions of the youtube video player? And some videos have the new one. The GUI looks a little different on the ones that don't play.
Maybe Chrome just needs to update it's flash plugin.

Actually there is an extension that does that for chrome, are you sure you don't have that installed?
Otherwise uninstall it to get rid of it. It is "Stop Autoplay" or something like that.
