altough america has the biggest movie indutry it s starting to produce cheap movies,or "disney like " ones like TRON wich is ,i could en even whatch it half an hour because i got bored,and the so called Romantic comedies,like Jennifer Aniston ones are an affront brought to the definition of love or the definition of even a MOVIE.The rest of the american movies,are just propagandistic ones,wich try to show the "greatnesss" of america and their superiority in the world...yep they re the reborn Roman empire...

All countries have cinema, and make movies, and i can name cinemas that produce far better movies than Hollywood, cinemas like the English, the Spanish, the former Yugoslav and of course the French, which is untouchable, speaking about the epitome of art in France. Remember mr "Uncontested" (aka troll number 53623167) that in Oscars, you can see any kind of movie, and the least worst gets nominated and winning, while in Cannes, and other European festivals, only top quality movies can "participate".

As for the "world policing", well thank you very much, we dont need "policing", we can slaughter eachother and bring "freedom, peace and democracy" to ourselves without help from "the land of free and brave". Oh yeah, i forgot.... you still dont have healthcare in the states right? You still have ghettos for the "non-white" people right? You still force immigrants serve in your army to get citizenship right?

Ah yes another ignorant America hater. Oh yes Cannes is so great, because artsy crap that only 400 people got to watch makes it quality. PS Last I checked several *American* movies about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have received high marks at Cannes, uh oh there goes one talking point. (Taking Chance, Restrepo, and Hurt Locker )

We have health care and don't have to wait in queues of 2 months to get it.
