Nah it would be better to go for a GTX 570 over the GTX480. Well if you don't game at 1920x1080 resolution the GTX560 should be fine, but if you do I'd recommend a GTX 570, just bought one myself and it blows all games away including Shogun 2

I went from a 9800 gtx to a 560ti SOC (same speed/performance as 570) and my CIV 5 gaming experience went through the roof. Definetely a worthy upgrade. I got the card prior to Shogun 2 demo launch.

Very nice Upgrade as long as your cpu is fast enough to feed it with enough work .

Make sure you PSU is up for the task, especially if you're considering the 480.

The 560 Ti is an excellent card. It would be a very noticeable upgrade.

The 560 is no slouch and neither is the 480. Both cards would last a while before needing to upgrade again.

Well...480 has the extra option of cooking your eggs for breakfast in the morning, so its worth the extra muney xD (I was being sarcastic here, sorry if you misunderstood). 560 Ti is no slouch, and there's a special version where you get Crysis 2 and a Superclocked card along with it.

480 is a bad card. 560 is awesome.

the 480 also uses much more power than either the 560 or 570

yeah i would avoid the 480...ok that issue is solved i think

we need to res/cpu speed to judge better. and psu perhaps.
