Byzantine crashes?

hey everyone,
just started playing Medieval again! right with the patch, kuddo's to the makers!
stainless steel 6.2 was just to invasive to the game for me

i just have one problem, every time i play a campaign with the Byzantine emp. i get allot of random crashes and screen freezes.
i played 3 campaigns till around 50 turns with other factions (english, danes, venice) and it never happens with those, it really seems to only be the Greeks :/

i have 4.2 with the script the change the militia spawning and playing on windows XP

is this a know issue? so yes, wat can i do about it?
was just planning to go out on a Byzantium campaign

I assume that you are playing KGCM v4.2 and not Heroes, Hordes and Beyond. KGCM v4.2 is the most stable major mod I have ever experienced and you should not be experiencing any crashes like those you described from the mod. If you can recreate the crash and post your log file I would be glad to look at it and see if there is an apparant error or confilict.

Most of these types of errors can be fixed with a reinstall and by carefully following the install instructions.

Another small chance for this error is a problem with the Direct X drivers. I suggest you try a reinstall first and if that doesn't work, try to obtain the latest Dx drivers.

thanks for the answer
i have not been able to recreate the exact time of the crashes, it seems to be pretty random.

but, i will try reinstalling it, and updating the Direct X drivers

i reinstalled the mod and while i was at it, i added HHB to it

so far so good, turn 20 with a new and better looking (ty HHB) Byzantium and no crashes yet.

must say, this is gonna be one thought campain
