new map

hey all, i have made a "new" map (really just zoomed in on a part of the RTR map) and it includes greece, egypt, italy, anatolian peninsula, africa, and small parts of spain and the balkans. i am having a few issues with it though. one of which being a CTD when scrolling onto a city or region (only when its in my line of sight).anyone know what file(s) in particualr cause this? i have already deleted settlements that i cut off from the map in descr regions, and all the dimensions of the map files are correct (i double checked). one thing that remains to be done is delete the inappropriate cities from the settelements lookup thing in data/text. but i dont think that would cause this error just because the cities/regions i get this prob with are appropriate cities. so any help would be awesome, thanks

You might want to check your resources and wonders in descr_strat, and remove the ones with inappropriate x and y's, and also check the mercenaries textfile for no longer existing regions.

ok, well the resources and wonders shouldnt be a prob since i already removed all of them, and i will put them back with the TIME edito, hopefully that will work out when i get there. also i deleted all the merc pools except for egypt since i KNOW that all those regions are still there. also, if i deleted all those resources from descr_strat, does that mean i have to delete them from descr_regions too? thanks
