    Default Is Mannfred Resurrected When He is Killed in the Campaign?

    Title pretty much says it all. Mannfred was killed in my Sylvania campaign whilst fighting under the "command" of the AI.

    Is that it? Is he permanently dead?

    I seem to remember seeing a mention of him "respawning" after death on this forum previously. If this is the case, does anyone know what time-scale this occurs on?

    I was reading thru the text files a bit ago, and there was a script called somewhere along the lines of "Sylvania Ressurection"

    So I'm guessing, you cannot be playing as sylvania as it says emergent faction. In other words though, it's a 50 - 50 chance that if Sylvania is destroyed, they can possibly come back

    I apologize if my original post isn't clear (and reading it over again that seems to be the case).

    I was playing Sylvania in this campaign, and I haven't lost the campaign, Mannfred just died while he was under the command of the AI (he came into this particular battle as part of the army I had arranged to arrive as reinforcements). Anyway, suffice to say that I got the faction leader death message at the end of the battle (but not during the battle oddly). I seemed to recall seeing something on this forum about Mannfred being resurrected during the campaign. If this is the case, how long does it take for him to be resurrected?

    Or is this not the case?

    I'll browse the files again, but I know with ostermark if the heir dies, the next one has the same campaign and battle model, plus same portrait... (I killed that damn guy at least 3 different times with sylvania haha, all had different names of course, just same picture and model) Searched the whole cow folder for mannfred and only ones that popped up where the one I posted and descr_stat file... So, I would say there isn't a way he gets ressurected, however, I have been known to be wrong

    Thanks for the info.

    I might have to restart my campaign then. I'm not sure I can stomach losing Mannfred this early.

    I also don't think I'm ever going to put him under the command of the AI again.
