Can anyone tell me how to make samurai recruitable from castle without a required dojo nor tech?
1.In units make sure the required dojo column is blank
2.In building_units_allowed find the unit IDref you want to change and change the building IDref attributed to the unit.
For the required tech check unit_required_technology_junctions, and for buildings check building_level_required_technology_junctions.

units_table: Leave "Required Dojo" blank = DONE
building_units_allowed: "SHO_Castle_1_Fort" > Added "Inf_Missile_Bow_Samurai" = DONE
But it doesn't work. I still need an Archery Dojo to recruit Bow Samurai.

I said change the building Idref not add a new line. You need to delete the archer dojo entries and it should work, well at least your pack did with me after those changes.

BUT then, the old building requirement simply it's inhered from the patchX.pack.... So you can only add the option for another building, but you can't null the recruitment from a building until you erase all it's entries from all the packs perhaps?

Any line in your mod that has the same entry header and style will overwrite the .pack files. You need to place them at the right db/ folder of course, which is more or less done automatically by PFM.
