    Default No Bubonic Plague

Is there or can there be a mod so their won't be the black plague? ... Actually I would like to have the Black Plague but not effect some of my cities
Or can someone make a building that stops plagues or promotes healthiness ...such as an apothecary or a hospital??
Is there a way to mod or make this building?

(I'm new here so if I posted this in the wrong place or if I asked too many questions, srry..)

If there is one already can u post a link to it?
    thx

It looks like the plague event is hardcoded, by coordinates, in the descr_events.txt file (data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_events.txt). I suspect the coordinates represent city locations. Check with the "show_cursorstat" in-game command... Because it's hardcoded, that means that making a building that stops plagues is impossible to make. Just make a modfolder (or edit your actual installed file after making a backup) and change the descr_events.txt file to suit your needs.

There is a SPF_PLAGUE factor in descr_settlement_mechanics.xml, but that just controls how the plague affects your settlement.

If you want to just create a building that promotes health, you can do some simple google searches easily enough (export_descr_buildings.txt). BTW, the advanced churches (cathedrals, etc.) already give a health bonus.

I recommend that if you re-script something you not mess with vanilla or have back-up copies, otherwise you might spend the next few hours re-installing.

    To Mod Workshop

It's very simple use the show_cursorstat code in the console and note down the x,y co-ordinates when you have the cursor on top of the settlement. Then open the descr_events.txt file and remove those co-ordinates from the black_death event and the plague won't hit there anymore.
