Default Turning the Square Timer back on in Siege Battles

Alright, I'm getting tired of sole enemy units hiding on the walls when I have taken the rest of the city and it takes about three times the amount of units to flush the last enemies in hiding out one by one. So I want to turn the square timer back on.

    How do I do that?

    A search result;

Than I realized all I have to do is have 1 unit of pistoliers to keep from losing when my city is assaulted. Simply leave the city and stay away from the bad guys.

In one recent battle I let 3 chaos armies complete with deamon princes enter the city while my forces held one gate house and deployed spearmen and cavalry outside (as opposed to inside) and let the chaos armies come at me from inside (as opposed to outside) running into burning oil.

Is there anyway to get the town square timer working again?

    updated post -

I looked into the battle xml file and found the ratio of enemy needed to capture plaza was different from original.

While on my deamon prince mod the plaza timer works the ratio is 0.80

on 1.4.1 the ratio is 2.0

question is if 2.0 is an unobtainable ratio?

    battle xml file

    in settlement rules segment

    updated

changing the battle xml file / settlement / rules for force balance at plaza from

2.0 - 0.80 enabled the plaza clock again.
It's in battle_config.xml in the COW data folder, at line 282.

"The only question that remained was whether the founders knew the final result of their creation, or if they themselves where the victims of a misunderstanding.
In the latter case it was the duty of any thinking human, to press himself into the front of this depraved movement, to perhaps still prevent the extreme, in the former case the founders of this peoples disease must have been true devils; for only in the brain of a monster - not of a human - could the plan for an organisation take meaningfull form, whose purpose must lead toward the end result of a collapse of human culture and thus to the desolation of the world.
In this case only battle remained as a means of final delivery, battle with any weapons that the human mind, intellect and will are able to comprehend, regardless, of whom fate would gift with it's blessing."
