Change unit model

I'm trying to change a strat map model and a battle map model. I tried withcing them, but now the model is all silver, with no texture.

I think you need to give some changes to the modeldb.
You can specify what changes you made to let people help you.

Yepp, what exactly are you changing? You may be giving a model to a faction that doesn't have a texture for it. If so I can help you get it working. Just send me a private message explaining what you're trying to do and I'd be happy to help. And don't worry, it takes less than 5 minutes to do for one model and is fairly easy after you know how to do it.

baywatch can you help me with this..I'm trying to make a new unit for the high elves ( for general unit ) with the same model as Eldar Archers but with maroon cape or red cape or blue cape...i only know how to make them the same but don't have any idea how to change the cape colour. Help me please

also...anyone can help me..i'm trying to have the sindar archers model to add into high elves faction..but the thing is.. the model came out but with greyish colour only with no texture...anyone know why ?

When you 'use' the models, you'll also need to copy the texture lines under the modelsdb article.
