Default Does prec attribute work here properly?

I last played BC like 2 years ago so I can't remember if the prec attribute works properly in this mod. I'm eagerly awaiting 3.0 too, I hope that I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the last time I played it.

it's becoming more and more like EB, basically making the game harder but not in a good i.e. fun way

It depends on what you consider as "fun".

"And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the best of creators. After that, surely, you will die. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation." (QS. Al-Mu'minun (23):12-17)

''fun''? Epic battles on bridges and sieges... not having to manage a crap economy that forces you to blitz before you go bankrupt Very few sieges and bridge battles in this game, mostly bland field battles

You enjoy sieges? As in, actually enjoy them? What on earth is wrong with you man? Siege warfare is the most stomach-churningly tedious part of any Total War game. Go and play a vanilla RTW campaign as Parthia, and then come back here and tell us you want more sieges.

Well, I've never went bankrupt while playing BC, so your argument about crappy economy is not valid. Or it is valid but concerns rather of your playing style.

If you prefer to spend every penny each turn, then don't be surprised that you are in the red next turn. With proper and not that painful spending you'll never be in debt (at least as most factions) - and that concerns even Solankis campaign.

The same concerns sieges and field battles - that mostly your choices, not things coded in.

Many people enjoy sieges, of course! Just because they can be a bit buggy sometimes doesn't mean they aren't extremely enjoyable overall... they are also sometime the only real obstacle a player must face -- gathering the proper resources to take a well defended city/citadel. Anyone who liked to "set up" their neat armies as a kid around the bedroom, kitchen and backyard, probably goes giddy every time a siege is initiated. Just typing that sentence got me fired up to load up BC and fight a good long siege!

I'm talking stakes and towers, archers on the walls! Outnumbered and hopelessly surrounded! Ballistas in the streets man! House to house. The glory!

    The horror, the horror.

Pathian infantry isnīt that strong, that is correct. So i would say the pathian campaign in RTW is "challenging"

Many of my generals are walltakers!, I just love them. The utter chaos, the uncontrollable street fighting, the dying horses, running out of reinforcements to capture the the square.... It's only a pity that you can't have heroic siege attacks while it sometimes really was an epic fight.

Sieges are fun, what with the mighty trebuchets pounding defenses while the infantry storm the breach under the cover of arrow showers. Defending is possibly even more fun, especially with stakes.

Aaaah the siege. Nothing is more wonderful then defending your largest city against overwhelmimg odds and winning. I remember the siege of Baghdad i had those Seljuks tried hard but my Abna held fast nothing beats a siege my friend, get yourself a powerful force and besiege a full stack Citadel and youll see what challenge is.
