Default "Shogun 2: Total War Final Thoughts"

Did a quick browse through the forums... didn't see a thread on this. A nice interview with Mike Simpson.

Lots of deflecting. Nice that he admitted to axing the scope of the game to get it out 'on time'.

    Also:
Dissapointed to see their positive stance on consoles.
Worried about positive stance on lower end platform players .

Man, they never ask the scathing questions. Same applies to a regular citizen asking his/her "president" the tough questions. I wish they would pull an "on the fence" member with legit issues from this forum and have a live debate so their is no censorship. Its all a farce.

Nice find, thanks for this. The usual self-congratulatory interview, but hey, they deserve it this time.

Thanks for the article. I was surprised to find this quote:
GS: Shogun 2 represents the latest evolution of naval combat for the Total War engine, including amphibious attacks where naval units and land units both play a role. Tell us about what went into making Shogun 2's naval and amphibious game what it is. Are you satisfied with this evolution of naval combat, or are there other specific directions you'd like to go with naval in the future? In-depth boarding? Naval landings on multiple fronts?
Does anyone know how that works ? Doesnt seem like a documented feature.
