How are cannons different in N:TW compared to E:TW? In E:TW, I found it far too easy too simply wait for the enemy AI to move in front of my cannons (which I would put in the front line alternating with line infantry, like this: I-C-I-C-I-C-I-C-I). My cannons would always destroy the AI armies and make them flee. The only time I'd really do any moving in battles was when I'd run down the already retreating enemy with infamtry and calvary.

Does this tactic work in N:TW? Thanks in advance

Yes, that tactic works and in general the artillery is pretty much the same as in ETW.

I have taken to separating my cannons into a single grand battery and trying to lure the AI into fighting my infantry in a spot where my battery can fire on it. I find it's more fun than just sitting out a battle in a line.
