Hotseat mongols

Iam wondering what if you changed the descr_strat and run the Mongols on hotseat. I know when you play as mongols at the start of the game it autimaticaly says you lose the game since you have no settlement or units in the beginning. But what would happen if you run a hotseat with another faction until the Mongol come. Do they still run around as AI or you suddenly be able to control the new faction
I would be happy if somebody know the answer.

What do you exactly mean by that?

I meant you can play any AI faction if it's available on the map that is available right from the start or emerged later midgame by using "control <faction>" console command.

I've tried using that console command may times, but i can never get it to work, for example i type control <Denmark> and no errors occur, but i do not get to control them, nothing happens.

Press End Turn, and then you''ll control them. Disable your other faction by typing in control <England> and then it will such them to AI control. Otherwise you control both.
