Not saving game settings

I downloaded a mod for this game but got bored of it and removed it but now when i open the game the settings aren't right like unit detail and unit size, also the bottom of the screen is cut off so i change them and save them but the next time i play the game they have changed back is there anyway i can permanently save them. I didn't mind at first but its getting annoying now.

Delete the scripts folder.
