I just noticed something

Yesterday, when I was playing this mod I was looking at my trade tab on the government panel. Everything seemed fine until I noticed that for some odd reason it said I was trading with the German Empire and Austria-Hungary (and I am Great Britain). What is going on here?


Another thing I just noticed is that I clicked on a sniper unit during battle, then I pressed the INSERT button. The cool part is about to come. So as you can imagine, I was looking through one of the snipers' perspective. What was awesome was that when he fired, my point of view traveled with the bullet and I could see if the guy missed or not. It also works with regular riflemen. Now I can see if the sniper sucks or not (even though he is a 5 ranked sniper)

I think that this was in from RTW ... but it's always fun to look with your's bullets eyes!

I've known about that feature, it's a Total War awesomeness thing. Don't try it with machine guns, too many bullets. LOL.

Well, then what was the sniper trying to shoot? The ground? If not then I will say that they DID miss and if you did insert on a sniper unit you will find that they DO miss

It's pretty epic when you use arty and hit insert...following a shell until it 'splodes good...

Yes, pretending to be one of the poor soldiers in an infantry battalion is a quite amazing experience, with constant shelling, bullet rain etc.

no, the bullet seems to get lost, but the guy the bullet was headed to dies, so that proves that no. They Dont miss. Ever.

The funny thing is... in Empire they don't have the bullet-cam thing... Or at least, when-ever I was using the First Person view, I never got any bullet-cam.
Perhaps they weren't able to finish it for Empire? Really shows how incomplete the game was if they didn't.

There was the bullet-cam in Empire but after 1.5 it just froze as soon as it started following the bullet/shell. Which was a shame

Well, as for the trading, ironically, the Austrians and the Germans paid royalties to the British for every Maxim gun they manufactured during the entirety of the war. So...for a bug, it is rather historically accurate...

Actually it was the british who payed royalties to the Germans. In fact, for every artillery shell made in Britain, they owed more money to the Krupp family who held the pattent on the fuses (IIRC) and the debts were paid in full by 1928
