    Default Honoring the Tribune

Kaeso walked towards the Rostra and smiled as he was going to make a speech on behalf of the tribune of the Republic. The defender of the Republic who stood for the people and did not allow a Dictator to come to power. Kaeso stopped for a second and then walked up the steps of the Rostra and took a deep breath and let it out slowly

" My Fellow Citizens of Rome today our republic was defended by a brave man. His name is
Aulus and he is the Tribune of the Plebs. Yes This man Defended this republic by not allowing a Dictator to take control of the government. Yes this man used his power as Tribune to defend this very republic from a Dictator. He was almost killed because of it but he held out and this man deserves to be honored !. And their is a way you to do this. In the coming Election. You must vote for this man.. This man who defended the republic who almost killed himself in the name of the Republic and stood up against stronger foes of the senate. The Senate in which almost allowed a Consul that allowed his solders to raped woman and to loot and burn temples to the ground to be Dictator. Who knows what this man would of done next if he got what he wanted, which was to become Dictator and have his Term extended without a election.

But my friends the fight is not over. The senate may Actually make this man a Dictator if you do not vote for the Aulus to be the Tribune once again and allow some upstart by the name of Titus become Tribune who is in favor of a Dictator. Yes you heard me right.. He wants a Dictator to come to power and do god knows what to this republic. So my friends you must vote for Aulus to be Tribune once again. So that he could defend the Republic and not allow a Dictator to get into power. "

Kaeso waited a few minutes and then got off the Rostra and headed back to the curia .

*The crowd begins to talk with each other informally, expressing informally their views on what has recently been heard. Over the rest a louder man can be heard*
Hah, you know what I say we need a dictator! Our troops are left leaderless in Macedon, paralysed! Besides, the senate have turned to savages, do you know what I heard? I heard the Censor was assaulted by the Consul. Two of the most 'respectable' men of Rome attacking each other, why I saw Scaeva on a stretcher leave the Curia last night! No doubt no decision will come to punish the offending party, and our troops will be left defenceless while these greedy Senators squabble over who gets the best positions! And we all know how long elections can last. I say Rome needs a dictator, at least 'til the damn brutes of the senate are reorganised! I spit on the senate, THE LOT OF THEM!

The pleb's words created a mass of accepting murmuring, and some of the plebs shouted: "Senators should be re-elected, every single bit of'em" or simple acceptive shouts like "Yeah!"
