Icon4 A thank you to all the developers

    Greetings,

I want to use this thread, to thank all the developers of this mod. This (being an award winning mod), is one of the best one, if not the best, that I have downloaded or seen in so long. It brings my interest in the game even further, as I was stuck playing the main campaign of Rome, over and over again. With this mod, it got me so excited and ready to play. The game was beautifully developed with the enhanced graphics and new buildings, such as the government systems, were a genius idea. The game made it more challenging for me, as I love a challenge (especially with Hannibal right there in Italy), and thank you for this. It really did inspire me alot to get back into Rome.

    Your biggest fan,

    Marcus

They're shortly followed by complaints threads insisting the mod is broke, after they've started up a Roman campaign and 9/10 times get mauled by Hannibal, and then brake down when they see the following rebellion.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming.

This is the crack cocaine of mods. My best friend has been trying for weeks to get me into his Shogun 2 clan, but I can't tear myself away from RS2. Just a terrific job by the devs. In addition to captivating game play, the scenery is often enthralling of itself. You guys are artists.
"With a population of around a million, Rome (in Claudius' time) was a vast city even by modern standards. It is worth pointing out that during the early Renaissance the population of Rome was no more than fifteen thousand-- living amid the ruins of a civilization that dwarfed their own. It was not until the nineteenth century that the population of Rome returned to the levels it had enjoyed under the Caesars. That is eloquent proof of the fact that human history is not a tale of steady progress towards greater knowledge and achievement." Simon Scarrow

I also wanted to thank you guys for this great mod. I have been at war with rome for 40 turns and it has actually been a struggle to win the war. It is one of the best total war experiences I have ever had.

I have finished adding the bulk of the new traits....there are still a few that people are working on in terms of research, but the main traits are pretty much done. I am in the process of updating each of the mod folder descr_strat.txt files, as new traits have to be added to them all. In the process I have corrected a number of little problems\omissions, and fixed all of the faction families so that where known, the characters are the right age (or close) and have the right names. Ptolemies, Seleucid, Macedon, Sparta in particular needed some work.

I was joking, my pc can't support the game at 100% . Indeed i didn't want to despreciate Shogun 2, I have played and I like it but I don't own it. Just I like more Roman era than any other and I'm pleased I can replay RTW with a feel of a new game grapichs and improved gameplay.

    Ok?
