Any fans here who liked the pilot episode?

It was okay, maybe a touch slow. Although I might chalk that up to the fact that it was a two hour episode so they felt they could take their time getting started. Can't tell if I am all that impressed with the casting. Irons is good, but I'm not to impressed with Colm Feore as Cardinal Rovere nor with François Arnaud as Cesare. I'll give it another episode or two before Game of Thrones premieres then I probably won't watch it again.

I quite enjoyed it, then again, I am a great fan of Jeremy Irons. Being a Pope in 1492 looks a lot more fun than it is now.

It was about a billion times better than the Tudors, so better than I expected at least. It's an interesting story, and Jeremy Irons being in it means there is at least one good actor at least.

Is this being shown in the UK at some stage? It sounds pretty good and i'll have to watch it a bit before a Game of Thrones is released (If its out before a game of thrones in the uk of course)

no sir, it's about a billion times WORSE than the Tudors.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers > all and the Tudors had Sam Neill, and just much better acting all around

The Borgias kinda sucks but its worth watching anyway imo, just for the hell of it.

the guy who plays Juan (the younger Borgia brother) did a better job as William Hamleigh in Pillars of the Earth

i think the first episode was great, it shows great promise.

just one episode so is too early to judge, since its pilot episode i personaly didnt expected nothing exciting but jeremy irons makes a good pope

The first episode was really good. Best first impression i got from a series in a long while.

Needs more sex

Would have been much more entertaining if they had the cast of characters from Assassin's Creed. Everyone knows them, they know their role better than most, so I personally would have preferred those guys.

If i get an oppurtunity to wtch it (when it comes out in Britain or Belgium), my main reason will be so i can imagine Rodrigo shouting: "You can't! You can't! It's my destiny, MINE! I am the prophet!"

IDK they aren't as powerful but still have a decent amount of power.

The worst part is no women but also you have to be ridiculously old.

The first episode certainly catched my interest, I will be following this one (well, until Game of Thrones starts at the very least).

not enough papal ball sack. kinda funny how they went from sex with women to little boys. i for see beastiality in the future.

i doubt the pope sexes boys.
