I know that a vast majority of you *including me* would love a Rome II Total War, but is there anything else you'd like to see? TBH, I'd love to see a fixed version of empire, with all the AI improvements, bug fixes, *and hopefully they get rid of about 3/4 of the smaller nations in the game, when I click end turn I know I have enough time to watch a cutscene in Metal Gear Solid ffs*. Especially considering the potential Empire had.

This thread is pointless. I bet all my money, the vote is gonna go for rome as the vast majority of forum users here are either european/americans. As an Asian, myself i would love to see far east total war to be implemented into game, then bring on the rome.

I said China and its neighbors, but that's a hard sell. I think the main market for this game is America and Europe...probably Europe more so.

As I said in the other thread about the same topic, ancient China around the warring states period or the three kingdoms period. Keep the franchise out of Europe for at least one more game before you go back there.

I want a hardcore kind of medieval game where you have to appoint and manage nobles, have bigger control over taxes, food supply and diplomacy, better trade, limited manpower for troops based on population, etc etc. Just more attention to realism like some of the mods have done/tried to do.

I'd love to see a 17th century mod, focused on Wars of Religion e.g. 30 Years War, Cromwell/William of Orange in Ireland, English Civil War, Hugenot Rebellions in France etc. and the rise of Absolutism/decline of royal power in France/England etc.

I wouldn't mind this either, they could make it start in the Renaissance and end it about 1700. This period would include the Italian warring states and the Spanish Armada and Gustavus Adolphus.

I voted ACW, not just the USA but the rest of the world at this period in time. Imagine what we could do with modding an 1860's map of the whole world!

IMO There was so much going on at this point in time around the globe it could make a great game.

I would like to see a Victorian Era. Would keep me entertained for awhile. But with a large focus on the US Civil War, or an expansion of it, in much detail. Leading up to 1914.

We all know it's going to be Rome anyway. I just hope they consider Warring States for the one after that, it could really be something fresh.

This is sad but true. RTW has much replayability especially with EB or RS2 so I still play it, even more than M2TW. Whenever I'm in a "The Gladiator" mood.

I swear, if I ever make another thread like this I'm removing Rome II. All I hear now is Rome II with occasional muttering of a China:Total War. Anything else? Perhaps something more original?

Victorian Era foo. Or from Renaissance to 1700. The Gunpowder, Age of Sail, and Cannons came about in full. Plus strong monarchies.
