Game doesnt register edits to the descr_stat

Hey, I've been recently playing around with the descr_stat file for the Late campaign but when ever I start up a new campaign to see the changes it is still the "vanilla SS" campaign. I've been editing the file that's in the data/campaign/late/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign folder. Is that the correct file or is it actually a bug?

Are you starting the game using ss_setup afterwards? If yes, then that is why. Make your changes after selecting the campaign, then start the game using the launcher only.

I made the changes after doing the setup and launching from the premade desktop shortcut. However, I managed to fix it by going back into the setup and switching the campaigns around from late to early and then back to late. The changes now show up in the campaign.
