Yes.. But any game gets boring after a while. Been there, done that, you know. So then I do something else for a while, and come back to Total War once I'm ready for more carnage! The problem is Total War still calls out for to me, even when I actually don't feel like playing it.......

Yes.

Although that happens with all of the games I own, so it's more of a "wow I really want to play CoD2 for a bit..." rather than getting bored of it.

I feel this about 5 regions into any campaign... if I continue playing after that I usually win, else it is abandoned. I have started dozens of campaigns across all the TWs. I have finished perhaps half a dozen. For what is hundreds of hours over the past few years, I don't seem to have a very high success rate.
