    Default Question about battle maps

I am playing 355camp with julian.I have invaded (today's) holand and I am fighting in hills or moutains. At least to me it is pretty annoying? And on general note I think all maps should be close to flat as much possible as it reflects that any general would choose such terrain as most suitable to conduct a battle ( roman or no roman).
How exactly does the game is selecting maps ? is it random or pre determined?

It seems to be predetermined as part of the RS II vegetation. I actually like it as it makes battles even harder.

Yes, I am finding that. I am enjoying the variations in terrain and vegetation. It's like playing the game again for the first time!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
What have the Romans ever done for us?? apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the Romans done for us?
    Some of my favourite quotes:
"Your god has yet to prove himself more merciful than his predecessors" ~ Hypatia, as represented in the film 'Agora'
"If you choose to do nothing, they will continue to do this again and again, until there is no-one left in the city, no people for this governement to govern"
