    That is what I'm talking about. The only real Kotor is Cattaro(Cattaro is Italian word for Kotor). Kotor in Bosnia should be called Kotorac.

    Well, perhaps the Bosnian Kotor should be renamed to Kotorac to avoid the confusion, but that is pretty much it.
    No need for entire settlement location/name change.

    Also, I edited out the previous post to include proper links;

    I believe that this series of maps is the most correct and unbiased span of showing the expansion of Croatia and Serbia as early medieval states;

    Year 843;

    Year 870;

    Year 870/900;

    I hope you are right about Serbia,because that period of Serbian history is not too well known. Or better said not much fameous

    And at that time it was called Raska(Rascia). When Raska,Duklja,Travunia,Zahumlje and Paganija united,that state became Serbia.

    And Yes,Bosnian Kotor should be renamed to Kotorac !

    Actually no, Rascia as a term for Serbia was not used until the 12th century so using the term "Serbia" for this period is more correct.

    Also, Raska , Duklja, Zahumlje and Pagania did not really unite, the smaller sklavinias were conquered by whoever became stronger(between them) at any moment, which did not happen for the first time until the 930s/940s.

    So many posts about one settlement.

    And term Serbia is more popular than Raska. Than Serbia is OK.

    Even on Croatian Wikipedia it says ''First Serbian state was called Raska''. https://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Povijest_Srbije

    Constantine VII, DAI, 10th century; ἄρχων Σερβλίας/Prince of the Serbs
    Al-Masudi, 10th century; Sarabin

    The first attested appearance of the name Raška is in a charter from Kotor dated to 1186, in which Stefan Nemanja is mentioned as župan of Rascia (Prince of Serbia). Soon after Rascia became one of the common names for Serbia in western sources (Papacy, German, Italian, French etc.) often in conjunction with, Serbia (Servia et Rascia). However, Rascia appears scarcely in Serbian and never in Byzantine works to denote the state.

    Ok. And Stefan Nemanja was Veliki župan(Grand prince),more than just župan(prince). So it will be Serbia than. Are there any units we can see for Serbia or Croatia ?

    Kotor in Bosnia might be confusing. That is why I prefer Kotorac or something else.

    According this preview the city of Bratislava is called Pozsony, but it´s a later name for this city. The archaeologists found a coin of Stephen I of Hungary around year 1000 and the city is called Breslava Civ. So I think Breslava is more historical name. Here is the coin:
