Default Refresh my memory quick (pls read)

    Hey all, thanks for reading...

I just started playing a couple weeks ago (when I joined the site) after a long break, however I am a seasoned vet...i wrote an intro on totalwar.org that went into some depth heh.

I have not played as the Romans in about a year...I'm back to Vanilla 1.5 (1.6 when I play BI) but I want to do the full campaign (i love BI, just really interested in building an empire again like I had with the Brutii once) and I don't even have the mod to unlock all factions...apparently (i've been told) you need the one that's meant for 1.5 or it won't work (i did download one that i found and it did cause instant CTD when I'd click on any faction it was used to "unlock")...

    Anyway, sorry for the scatter...

Someone please refresh my mind about the differences between the three roman factions, how to deal with the senate (not the basics, like out of the manual..what would normally be in our discussion realm on here) and the "conditions" surrounding how romans get into war with eachother, how a "civil" war starts (if not the same thing) and victory conditions, etc..any other relevant info.

It would be greatly appreciate and a good starter perhaps for anyone new on here using romans...

The Romans have no differences between them besides gladiators and the starting area.
The Senate should be obeyed, since its not too useful to **** 'em off in the early game, but late game you can just ignore them.
When you get the "Chance for Glory" message (when your popularity with the plebs is high enough, fairly late game) you can declare war on the other Roman factions, including the Senate. The easiest way is to send a diplomat to Rome and cancel your alliance with SPQR. Civil War.
Victory Conditions is just conquer 50 territories and rule Rome.

I know this is brief, Ill let others go into more detail.
