Problem wit Rome Total War reinstall

Hi
I have problem with reinstalling RTW Gold Edition. I have installed INVASIO BARBARORVM : SOMNIUM APOSTATAE IULIANI mod, that ,I suppose, break my vanilla RTW (despite the fact, that mod developer write, that SAI is modfoldered). Now I have big problem - I removed SAI, uninstalled RTW, but after installing fresh vanilla RTW I have CTD just after The Creative Assembly logo. I tried remove manually every RTW and BI keys from registry, then I used CCleaner, Glary Utlilities and Eusing Free Registry - still nothing. Fresh vanilla crash after creative assembly logo - screen turns black and CDT. I havent any ideas what to do.

Ok - not works. Still screen turns black after CA logo and CTD without any error information. I think that problem reason is one of the mods I have previous installed (mods developers write, that are modfoldered and dont interfere with vanilla or other mods). I have removed all of them with they own unninstaller.

When it gets to the black screen, can you alt-tab out? There maybe a security popup waiting for you.

If you are using Vista or 7 you may have to clear out the 'virtual store' or 'appdata' area. This is a hidden folder so you will have to change your folder options to see it. Once you've done that run %appdata% to see the satrt of the path.

It will be something like c:\users\"user account"\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly

Game always crash when should be vanilla intro - BI and mod RTR Fate of Empires( that I have installed for test) - both works fine (BI has his own intro, RTR hasnt any) . But vanilla RTW always crash after CA logo.

try reinstalling RTW to different directory and test if you still have the same problem could be your vanilla RTW got corrupted

Do you think that install disc is corrupted

. There were not infos about errors during installation - installation is going without problems

that's the only thing i can think of since you installed a fresh unmodded vanilla RTW and you cant even play the game properly as you said it crashes

I will try with my brother's RTW copy tomorrow, but I'm affraid, that some remains of previous installed mods still somewhere exists, despite using several cleanning registry programs
