Unspecified error.

On medieval 2 total war, I installed it, made sure my drive and all that stuff is updated and when i go to launch then play the game i get: "Medieval 2 total war has encountered an unspecified error and must now exit."

I have searched literally the entire internet and cannot find a solution to my problem. Please help.

I have not installed the game before, the version i bought came with two things "Medieval 2 total war" and "Medieval 2 total war kingdoms"

945 Express chipset really is not made for this. http://www.intel.com/support/graphic.../cs-021400.htm

If reducing the monitor resolution does not work, you need a dedicated graphics card.

You can try updating the chipset drivers at www.intel.com. It may take a little to find it but they do have a scan link to scan your computer and tell you what you need.

Well, I just looked up your computer, peeked at its motherboard, and I have bad news. You need another computer to play this game. You can't update the Intel drivers because Acer has them proprietary for this computer only and you have no slot for a graphics card.
