    Icon5 Upgraded Range on Fire Projecting Mangonels Doesn't Work

    Has anyone else tried upgrading their Mangonels' range? All the other upgrades to mine work fine (Accuracy & Reload Speed), but the 'Increased Range' upgrade did nothing to my unit's range... Is this just a bug, or am I missing something?

    Ugh you have 3+ veteran mangonels.

    Perhaps you should stop being terrible and the game will let your upgrades work?

    On a more serious note yes it does appear to be a bug.

    yeah we played against some [7SAM] guys last night who brought a highly vetted mangonel and camped in the trees in their deployment on rice paddys (2nd time they have done that) and then raged against us after the game saying we bored our opponents to death, camped, and wouldn't attack quick enough. Irony.

    Artillery? Never! We at the 7Sam group... Nah, just kidding, I know that we have some members who use it, though I honestly dont see the point, just turns the game into a campfest. Ironically, the members using the artillery should be the easiest to beat, as having played regularly with all the veteran players I can say that none of them use artillery for anything other than sieges, we tend to favour the aggressive path.

    Did you win that battle btw Dako? I know cannons can be a .

    On topic, why the hell do you have at least 3 vetted mangonels? You need at most two, as you can only bring one a battle, and you only need two to cycle if they get damaged...

    Hahaha thanks for all the love - no more than I expected really, given all the people that just sit back & camp with mangonels. For what it's worth though, I don't sit back & camp with them - I use them to harass the enemy as I charge into them. The reason I want to upgrade their range is because whenever I play, whoever I'm playing always just corner camps.

    Oh, and the reason I have 3 vet mangonels is because I'm not short on veteran space yet, and so I can use whichever point value will fit my army best depending on the other vets I have in the game.

    i actually don't even care if people take artillery, i think it's legit. and their dep zone camp is okay too since rice paddy is a flat map. what isn't legit or okay is trying to call me lame after the match while exposing yourself as a hypocrite. that doesn't fly.

    i had known the [7SAM]/MAGOG guys since ETW, and wouldn't have thought they could act so disrespectfully simply because we didn't oblige them and run straight into their fire bombs.

    but yeah it's clear [7SAM] tactic of choice is mangonel camp in their deployment, given the vet level of their mangonels. the funny thing is i started asking people on my friends list how many shots a mangonel had while we were probing their defense and planning our attack (i asked yellow) and everyone responded to me saying "i don't know i never use them" lol.

    was a 2vs2 my m8 killed 34 units overall so i found my self in an unconfortable 2vs1 .... i added both to my friend list and asked for 1vs1,,,, still waiting for it...... the same with the guy Bron-Sam who suposely is the best on 7Sam i added him to chalange him to 1vs1... but he has not acepted the freind request.. and that was 4 days ago... i even talked to 5 guys from 7 sam and told them to tell bron sam to acept the invi.... but it got no effect on it.. seem he dosent wanna loose

    Everytime I've come Across seige weapons it's been a liability for my enemy. The most hilarious are the guys who put their Mangonels in Forests to hide the fact they have them. Then you get to watch as a vast majority of the projectiles explode at tree height

    I could tell Bron-San to accept if you really want to 1v1.
    I dont think its that he doesnt want to lose, more like he doesnt really care for 1v1's at all, hes more into the 2v2's, him and Miyagi are coming 2nd on the 2v2 ladder, so they're working hard to take 1st, or at least keep 2nd.

    Yeah GambleFish, Miyagi was kicking himself for like 15 minutes after that battle, and spent quite alot of time cursing your lv8 Katana hero, said you were a real cool guy though. I think I beat you way back when the game was first released, like 2nd day or so, dont think I'd stand a chance now though lol.

    no he can't stand losing... nice guy until that happens.

    and today he dropped in match making saying he can't be bothered to play a 45 minute game, when he is the one with siege last game9.
