    Default Pro-Religion Thread

    Yeah so I noticed (a while ago) that they got this Anti religion thread and I don't mean to be any offence but I think its kind of stupid to oppose organized religion for no reason so I decided to start this thread. Basicly the members are just people who support organized religion, doesn't matter if you muslim, christian, hebrew, hindu, ect.

    Please be respectful of other relgions or lack of them.

    How do we oppose organised religion for no reason? I certainly have reasons. I can't speak for the other members, but I know I do have reasons.

    shouldn't this be the "pro-religion" thread? I don't want to seem like we are attacking someone, I want to be positive. If this is a group devoted to attacking people, I won't join.

    WHat has any religion done to deserve your opposition. I mean even if you look at islam (from what I know) it preaches peace and such, it is just misused by people to push there political ideals. Fact is there is nothinq wrong with religion, the problem comes when people misinterpret it for there own gains.

    I have many reasons, but I don't want to get into them all because that means having to examine the validity of each one and so on. I don't have time for that crap at the moment. However, how is not believing it not a reason to oppose it?

    I don not believe in the following religoins: Judiasm, Islam, Buddism, Hinduism, ect.



    Does that mean I activly oppose them? I may be being a little judgemental here but Its these same kinds of people who are just against religion who cry Bloody Mudure because of a ten commandments statue in a coutrhouse and because "god" is in the pledge of alleigence.

    Sounds like a damn good idea. Though I do like the sound of the group someone suggested on the Anti Religious form. Confederate group :laughing: . Yea ya can sign me up.

    I dont have a problem with people not beliving in religion its when they bash others religions and try and tell them that they are wrong and ignorant for beliving in it. Well I guess most religous people try and do the same thing to atheists. But the anti-religion thread, group whatever, is pretty pointless. There not going to change anyones mind, or eradicate religion all together. All they can do is try and make themselves feel secure by reasuring one another that there is no God.
