Feature Transfere Error

Hi,i have reinstaled RTW,& when the istalation procces goes to Voices 2 .cab,a window pops up called:
"Feature Transfere Error:
Feature: Rome Total War data
Component : data file:F:/data2.cab
Error: Data Error(cyclic reduclondy(or somting like that) check)"

Please help,how can i fix this???

Please help.

Clean the disc real good checking it for scratches , dirt, fingerprints, etc. The laser can't read that part of the disc.

Hey,the problem is here again!I clean the disc & it still dosnet work...

On the shiny side of the disc, does it look like someone with steel fingernails scraped across it or tried to shine it with sand?

You mean where the hole is & where it saids"DVDRRTW"?
There is something that looks like dust...

Also,on one part of the disc it looks that someone "with steel fingernails scraped across it".

The red part needs a good cleaning.
The blue part is what the laser is trying to read. If it 's too deep or too many, you'll need to buy a new game.

The blue part:There is just one,maybe 2.

Soft cloth preferably. Never tried it but maybe a dab of dish soap and rinse and dry real good.

If it's deep and long enough, it only takes one.

Ok,the scrach is 2 cm leight,it is't very deep tho.

If it's in the right place it can.

My disc is beat up and I have it still going with a little toothpaste and a lot of rubbing to fillin the scratches. If you decide to, remember to wipe off the excess paste.

Umm...Have i got any other choce that tootpaste???(also,what is rubbing)???

Did you see "The Karate Kid"? It's like the wax-on, wax-off routine the Master had the kid do. It's just a circular motion on the disc with enough pressure to push the toothpaste into the crevices. Chioce of toothpaste? Crest or Colgate around this house. One player was successful with furniture polish.

I have to wax off toothpaste on my RTW cd to make it work????
Do i have to wax off every time i whant to put my cd in???

No. Once is enough. If it does not work, you will have to buy a new one.

Hi,i am in need of help again,i have watchd a ton of vids. from Youtube and tryed those that are supose to "work",but it dosent work,since your method wasn't very clear...
Please,PLEASE tell me step to step how to do it,PLEASE.

Also,i found a vid that says 100% will work,and it says just to take somthing called "Lip Balm/Chopstick"[what is that???],and to put it all over the CD/DVD,and the comments are full of comments like:
"OH IT WORKS THANK YOU",the link is bellow.

Lip Balm or Chapstick is something that can be bought many different places that 'greases' chapped (usually caused by dryness). All they do is add some 'oils' to the lips in order to protect them and allow them to heal.
