HOI 3, wrong flag!
Hey chaps I got the game a couple of days ago and I would like to say that this is one of the best games I have ever played, but I have to ask that why does Germany have the German Empire flag instead of the Nazi flag as the national flag. I mean it is completely unhistorical, and well I guess that is it, but is there some way I can unlock the flag or is there a local mod that I can use to have the flag?

Just search for a mod, there's tons of flag mods. Otherwise you can very easily make one youreself, just replace the flag in the flag folder with th one you want.

Its not the Nazi flag so they can legally sell the game in Germany.

Hey found a mod but it says that I need to convert the flag to a .tga, does anyone know how to do that?

Same goes for other Nazi symbols (e.g. related to the SS) or Nazi propaganda material, including songs etc. Any links posted to a mod which includes a Swastika or other illegal Nazi symbols will be deleted. Any threads that complain about this issue will be closed.
Anyone discussing any of the above items on this board is liable to be banned

The annoying thing is that it wouldn't apply to a swastika in a game under that law.

Yes it would since the file is in image format nonetheless, it only requires some searching of the game's folders to find a flag.
