    Hehe, I'm "that guy" complaining about your mods right?

    The oda having a higher reload rate and now this!!! (I just thought it was odd, but I probably didn't notice they had higher a reload rate then the chosokabe normally is all)

    As for this one, yes of course its the proper directory! I think the problem might be that I'm looking at the encyclopedia entry and seeing it come up as +1 / +2 rice consumed (I just noticed it doesn't update with your reload rate mod, I assume they are seperate static files, I guess I thought they weren't for some reason)

    Could that be my problem then? The encyclopedia entry for rice exchance and higher shows the default +1 and up rice consumption, but the actual buildings won't have that effect when built?

    I was restarting and deciding on a faction to play so I didn't get as far as to build one, but ^ I'm hoping thats it.

    I'm using all of those except ninja reskin and both files work for me....

    Yes, the encyclopedia doesn't change. Put your mouse over the building and the pop-up will show you the correct numbers. Same goes for unit mods too.

    Yes, this, as the encyclopaedia are a whole different set of files not connected to the game per se. Can even be viewed in your favourite browser outside the game.

    Strange. CTDs my game on start-up until I remove it from my data folder. I am using the first one.

    My mod list:

    Been a while, I've had to tend to a lot of personal matters, but now all versions are updated to work with the latest patch!

    Reason for CTD was CA correcting some spelling-mistakes. Metuske->Metsuke. Funnily, there's still one left: Mesuke

    Hi zowrath, I would like to remove only the food requirements from the market buildings, nothing else so can you tell me if you used PFM to do these changes and if you do how did you make these changes?

    Same. I just tried using this mod and it causes CTD at startup. Removing the mod and I can start the game no problem.

    Hey, mind if I ask if you update the zw_building_food_req_farms_mod_v1.1.7z to work with the latest release? Only the zw_food_req_gdp_hap-rep_mod_v1.08 works for me. The first listed gives me a ctd as it tries to load with Total War Shogun 2 not responding.

    My current list of mods are:
    Pumpkin_allGames_Skillpoints
    mod_extended_campaigns_S2@1640,Rots@1270,FotS@1880
    aum_sho_mod
    zw_food_req_gdp_hap-rep_mod_v1.08
    ALL DLC

    If not, please let me know and I will try and find someone to create a mod compilation specifically for me as I actually know exactly what I want to try. I apologize for asking and not doing it myself, but I was brain damaged about 18 months ago and no longer have the ability to figure things out for myself.

    Nevermind... A friend just modified the one that works for me and showed me how to adjust what I want within it. I dropped the food consumption by 1 level and it works like I wanted! Thanks everyone for the help!

    hey,m i noticed that only the first port upgrade gives +1 food. (upgrade beyond and you loose that +1 food from the port) I have no other mods that modify ports or buildings.

    could you see to the problem? love the mod so far, alot easier upgrading castles etc that way =)

    Looked through the mods now that I know how and this has to be an ingame thing though it makes sense. Add a fishing port and get food bonus, commercialize your port and it uses food. If it is something you want to work around another way, why not download the pack manager, open the mod file and drop your food consumption down one level (one number). Playing as Tokagawa I only needed one province to Realm Divide and had seriously powerful provinces without going bankrupt or starving; everyone wanted to kill me or be my best friend though! LOL If you want to extract the relevant data from your last patch file I am sure someone will help you find just the section you need if you want to change the ports, but dropping by one, the castles, works great even with full dockyards everywhere.

    Good idea, its about time i start learning minor "modding"
    Problem with the mod as i had it was that starvation was always a danger due to the AI upgrading their castles alot and their ports, but almost never their farms. thus loosing the +1 food from port and being forced to having high tiered castles which consumed, even many times went negative, food surplus. Even if i demolished the port and upgraded to the +1 food tier one.

    Will see how i can balance things out though so economy dont go completely out of whack :x (urukami's huge army gave me the first serious fright (sengoku campaign) i've had in a long time :o

    thanks again btw, decided to make a new mod from scratch instead as i wanted a few other things changed to fit better with certain mods i use now that you encouraged me to start modding abit :p

    Glad you found your way! Now if we had the Chinese shoreline developed with a few Chinese clans we would be very good!
