Bungled ambushes again!
Well, we sorted that problem with armies which, being too large, were not permitted to lay an ambush.
But now we have another problem.
So the ambush is set - right in the AI's path, but beyond his sight, led by an FM or not.
In the AI turn, a Makedonian army of any size walks forth directly into one of the squares surrounding the ambushing unit, and what happens?
The Dacian FM or captain remains in the ambushing crouch on the campaign map, the Makedonian FM or captain simply stops and the turn continues.
Then I am forced to withdraw a horribly outnumbered force of skirmishers and light cavalry before an army of many heavy infantry columns.
Now what is the problem?!

Re: Bungled ambushes again!
Their intended destination was probably just right next to where you laid your ambush, so they would not pass by. So no ambush...I've seen it happen in my campaigns too, not a big deal right?
