Can't start 6.4

I've been playing SS for a long time now but I never had interest in the forums .I was playing 6.4 with HRE for the first time (late era) and i noticed that there are no teutonic chapter houses .So I tried to fix it myself and removed the event_counter thing and started the game.But I didnt even get to the crusader loading screen,cuz it crashed instantly and i was forced to use task manager.And from that moment it stopped working completely!!I reinstalled it a milion times both 6.3 and 6.4 disabled UAC,full controll in properties and still nothing.Pls if anyone can help I would be really greatfull.TNX in advance

Are you deleting the SS 6.3 folder after uninstalling 6.4 and 6.3 as even when uninstalling it leaves behind files and folders (make sure you get your saves) then try to reinstall again.

Have you checked to see if the event_counter file is back after doing the reinstalls?

I just searched my SS 6.4 and couldn't find a file called event_counter.

I fixed it!!I deleted the remaining folder as you said (TNX) did a fresh install of MTW2 kingdoms,6.3 and 4,set the config to savage AI,disable RR and permenent arrows and voalla!!However the teutonic fix didnt work??
