    Default Sauromatae help

    Hey guys!

I am playing a Sauromatae campaign on VH/M and was doing very well. I conquered 5 rebel settlements. I made a ceasefire with Hayasdan. So i thought now i can build up my economy without a threat. But i was horribly wrong! Saka Rauka betrayed me, and Pahlava broke the alliance with me. Saka Rauka came with 2 half stacks attacking my most eastern settlements. I could hold the first attack but then they kept sending more men (lots of those armoured horse archers). And in the little setlements in the east i could not build walls. I lost the two towns, and now my economy is very bad and i cant do anything. Somebody got any tip, how i can keep alliance with Saka, so they dont betray me and attack my eastern regions? They also had a ceasefire with Baktria and Seleucid.

    (Srry for bad english)

The Saka will attack you, no matter what.

Play on M/M. The harder the AI, the more retarded it is. It'll always go for the human player, because two million years ago some programmer found that an appropriate way of increasing the difficulty of a game. And CA followed this "logic" (Unlike, say, Blizzard). On M/M, you'll have one or two years more of peace. Plus you don't have to fight off several millions of Greeks per turn.

Your allies can't betray you if you betray them first...
