Annoying ctd

I'm playing the campaign of 355 with Julianus with the 6tpy.
But in 355 after playing two of three rounds i have a ctd. I already try to save the game and rename it but always when i resume the game i have the same ctd.

I added the add on ancillaries perhaps is related?
Should i have unistall the game and install it again? Some options please? Or should i wait for the new stuff coming?

The ctd happens in Augusta Treverorum that is attacked by the Franks and at the same time the quaddi propose a ceasefire. I will try not accept the ceasefire and see what is happening however i dont believe that's the issue.

The add on ancillaries will not be causing the problem. Try loading the game and not activating the script for a couple of turns and see if that helps.

And yes, don't accept the ceasefire and see if that helps too.

thanks for the answear. I did not accept the ceasefire but the ctd happened again. It happened when the constantius crest is changing to the iazyges crest. Perhaps some stuff occuring with the A.I. make the game crash.
So i putt the 12 tpy script and played a little game with the Iazyges with the help of construction and money cheat codes. I finished the minimal requirements in 357 and no ctd happen.

Conclusion: perhaps something is not right with the 6tpy script?

Hmm, possibly, but I have checked all scripts with the script validator, but I think things may happen from time to time. As I said, try not activating the script for one turn till you get past the issue and then actiavte it.

thanks again. Also i put the option of limited men on battlefield and reduced the unit size to large and not huge. Trying again a campaign with Julianus in the 6tpy let's see if this changes will reduce the stress in the pc. In the meantime if that situation happen again i will follow your advises and will not put the script in action.

the ctd happened again with Julianus in 355. Now it was in the fith turn i believe and the ctd happened when the crest that as passing above is the crest of constatius empire.
So i resumed the game and did not hit the advisor for two turns apparently no more ctd happened.
However dont now if this is a technical issue of not.

Also: you did say JH that all town at least will have vigiles to keep them safe. However i conquered Ravenna. Italy joined all my cause but in Tarentum only boats could be build. Do you forget putting some vigiles in Tarentum or this is suppose to be like that?
