Everyone look at my Shogun 2 thoughts

I know there is probably already countless threads like this, but this is the internet and I lack any forms of forum etiquette or spacial awareness.

So, Shogun 2 is kinda lame. Why does everyone have spears? I really miss the battlefield gladiators like in Rome, or the elephant cannons in Medieval 2.. I don't know anything about feudal Japan, so it is pretty boring. Why didn't they make Rome 2? I didn't know Asia had history. Also why is the art like this? Battles are so stupid, no one has shields! wtf!? even the peasants have armor.

So lame, and there is no AA, so I uninstalled, and tried to take it back but the guy at the store said they can't take back Steam games??? wtf CA

Usually when someone is being cocky ("everyone look at my...") he has any reason to (just expressing his self-confident personality) and delivers some clever or at least eloquent piece of text.

Not this topic though. Quite ironic as it is actually as lame as you claim Shogun 2 to be.

It was a rushed attempt at sarcasm. Poorly executed I admit. Was trying to make a social commentary on all the haters that make their own brand new topic to declare their hate.

ummm.... ok? Just to enlighten you since it seems to me that you have been living under a rock for the past 10-20 years :/ Asia has more history than Europe! Hell... they had paper money 2000 years ago! Most of the modern Medicine comes from Asia, including the invention of the gunpowder. Asia's history is so massive that it dwarfs europes!

medieval 2 almost all light infantry have spears of some kind like armoured sergeants and sergaent spearmen or even town militia and the ashigaru troops arent really peasants they have a some training and the reason thier are no shields is cuz it wouldnt make a difference when someones katana is slicing right thru the shield cuz the katana is sharp enough to cut thru the armor the samurais wore so wouldnt make a difference
