Christian or not?

Am i sopost to get christian when the portugeas come to my ports.
Am i sopost to not to aloud them.
Or should i allow them but build a buddhist temple.
I don' t know.
What i know so fare is that dissalow them is better. But give me tips acoording to the situation.
Its every clan exept taked, the purple clan and Date wich does not have anything in this thred. The other clans are welcomed here.

You do what you want ... you can build the trade port get the benefits that comes with this and not turn Christian at all but the province will slowly turn Christian and this creates unrest to counter this you can move your clan leader and various agents such as monks and metsuke to counter this foreign religion from spreading. With this and a reasonable garrison you should be able to maintain control without to much trouble. I think it is better for expansion to remain Buddhist even for trade purposes because once you turn people tend not to like you very much.

Not sure if I understand your last question or comment correctly but any Clan including Takeda, Uesugi and Date can get this port at some point but since foreign trade might not be as prevalent with these factions early on they do not tend to get it until far later. Also remember if your armies are focused on monk warriors then turning Christian would be disastrous because it would wipe out that recruiting basis entirely.
