A Let's Play For Stainless Steel - The Birth of a Let's Player

Hey guys, just a little heads up on a project of mine, and a new hobby. I have decided I fancy the idea of trying to make a few Let's Play videos and I have decided to start by recognising my love for the great Medieval 2 mod Stainless Steel!

I am playing as the Kingdom of Portugal on Very Hard/Hard and am currently onto turn 16, but have only uploaded up to turn 8 I think as of right now.

One thing I want to make clear is you are watching the birth of a let's player and let me tell you I do not half get off to a shaky and embarrassing start. I was going to literally start again, but decided it would be best to look back in a month or two and really see how far I have come.

I am enjoying the campaign so far, and it does seem to be quite the challenge!

I have just finished my second day of recording and I am making advances on Seville after repelling a large army from a recently occupied Silves (the territory I cannot pronounce). The only thing left I am really bothered about with my commentary is my voice, nothing I can do about it but I hate my own voice lmao. Ah well.

Anyway, I really hope I can do this mod justice and raise some awareness for the game and the mod. It is fantastic n my opinion and I constantly go back to it, and I hope the let's play is enjoyed. I am hoping to keep developing my quality of work over time, so any tips/criticism will be carefully thought about!

Sounds interesting, will take a look.
First suggestion: Put the episode numbers as the first part of the name. When looking at your Youtube Channel, I can just see videos named "Let's Play SS Medieval II - Portugal!", no indication which video is part 1, unless I actually open the video up.

Skip forward to part 5/6 (when it uploads) if you get bored of my sheepishness in the first videos.

I enjoyed it. Found myself automatically trying to click your campaign event scrolls closed.

I watched #5 but its too slow paced for me. Especially that battle... don't you ever use the + speed buttons? The turns aren't too bad and the commentary for how much time you had to fill was sorta funny. But the battle drove me crazy sitting through the whole thing at normal speed.

6.3, try as I may 6.4 doesn't want to install.

In the videos which I am yet to upload I have started speeding it up. I cannot remember why I didn't, but these ones are better quality in my opinion. I'm getting better anyway. Honestly, I am not happy wit hthose first 5. Anyway I am putting 6 and 7 up now. check them out
