Fast forward stutters...unless i move the camera
Greetings everyone,
I searched everywhere to find someone who even remotely has the same problem as me but no luck. The topic pretty much says it all. The fps make huge drop in fast forward mode if i leave the camera standing. As soon as i move it they go back to normal but if i let go of the controls it takes about 2 seconds until they drop again. This happens regardless of settings. Low, high, ultra, large unit size, small unit size, rain, snow, doesnt matter. Even with 120 fps at standard speed it drops down to 10 on ff. When moving it goes back to about 80.
My settings are
GTX295 with latest beta drivers
Windows 7 64 bit
Core2Duo E8500
Latest directX
Will provide other infos if they are needed but i doubt they are.
Is this a known bug or something? My HDD where steam is located is not my fastest drive, but my faster ones are smaller and only contain the OS, not to mention that they are too small for my games library. Dont think this has anything to do with this though. It just looks like a weird glitch.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Re: Fast forward stutters...unless i move the camera
This is normal. The more you fast forward, the slower your fps. The reason why it goes smooth again when you move the camera is because the fast forward is canceled and you are back in real time. So as soon as you stop moving the camera, it will automatically resume to fast forward and you will see a drop in fps. Nothing unusual about that.
