Im so incredibly annoyed with steam right now I wanna freak out so here goes.....

I bought NTW at a real life store and have the 2 cd's that come with the game..... I want to install the game to my computer WITHOUT steam (which I hate with a burning passion) so that I can simply go into my computer and access files to the game (such as lua. and /data ect.) and install mods.

I totally wipe steam from my computer, totally wipe NTW from my computer, and attempt to reDL MY game to MY computer without steam and yet I have to install steam to continue with the DL.

SO, can someone PLEASE tell me how to install MY game on MY computer with out steam and all its annoying garbage...... if this is not possible how do I access the files to NTW so that I can install addons and change lua.

Thanks in advance if you can offer a solution and stop me from pulling all my hair out

Pure and simply you can't. At least not that I am aware of. If this is what your talking about, here is the folder hierachy to access the files on an XP. C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war. If you have vista or win 7, I cannot help you. Im sure somebody else would be wiling to though.

    Hi there.
What Ratherz already said; It is not possible to install nor play NTW (or ETW or S2TW for that matter) with out installing Steam. Sorry.

You do need Steam's DRM on your computer. If you don't want Steam, you can use the dvds for frisbees.

Like it's been said, you need Steam. Never lose your password and I mean NEVER. No steam = no game.
I lost my password once, so I couldn't play the game. I had to take a freakin picture of my game box and send it to Steam.
