Well, I want to fight with the SPQR but the computer didn't allow! In fact, it keeps telling go to increase the popularity before I attack the other Rome factions! What the ****, I had conquered more than 30 territories and still can't occupied Rome! I think probably because the AI wants to prepare the war but they know they haven't finished it... does anyone face this problem before?

*sigh* you have to increae your populartiy with the people, by winning battles, and hold games, and what not, then when they like you enough, you can tehn attack rome.

Nothing to do with AI...it is a campaign feature meaning you need the people to love you before you can march on Rome.

Or you can attempt an assasination of another family's members. I figured that out a bit too late myself. :sigh:

Well, the other families actually stop by Egytian long time ready... so I can't see the point why my popularity is lower than them. And I'm eager to destory other Rome factions because I have prepare a large army simply bribing from other factions... so they don't have much army now but I have a lot...

true. just increse your popularity with people in rome. the the senate will announce war on you.
