do they actually work? has anyone tested it in a race? the speed retainer i already know does NOT work, and i'm having doubts if this does anything either. so don't reply simply saying it works, tell me how you know that.

Ye tested it..he as slow as normal (3 upgrade on avatar speed)

Yeah I've noticed speed upgrades don't seem to be working right for most units.

not sure about this... played several ppl in MP with thier Generals as Horse Archers and def had a speed increase cuz i could not catch up to the bassturd with my Yari nor Light Cav. he would shoot, and as soon as i started to charge he would run... and i could not catch up.
ive also noticed this with against some other Cav units on MP... thus I would assume that speed increase is a factor (at least for vet).
